This piece started with the bird — a hand-painted ceramic piece that looked like it was mid-flight, like it had somewhere to be. I built everything around that energy. Ethiopian opal for the iridescence of open sky. Green moonstone for the intuition that guides you when you can't see the whole path. Blue topaz for clarity of voice. Sodalite to quiet the noise so you can actually hear yourself think. Blue apatite for the courage to follow where you're being called.

The feather charm at the end felt inevitable. Silver wire, glue-free, tension-set.

This one is for the person who's in the middle of becoming something.
